Ji Soo Janet Park, Harvard Law Schooljanet-park-biopic

 

Janet Park is currently earning her J.D. at Harvard Law School. She holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Columbia University. After college, Janet spent her summer in New York City as an intern for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, attending various meetings and events at the UN Headquarters and drafting memos for a number of topics involving the UNGA Sixth Committee. She then accepted a position at the U.S. Department of Justice and moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked at the Antitrust Division and at the Office of Legal Policy for three years. The highlights of her time between college and law school include volunteering at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, and working on high-profile federal antitrust cases, and coordinating the judicial nomination process for the federal district, circuit, and supreme court nominees in D.C. During law school, she has interned with the UN Commission on International Trade Law, the International Paralympic Committee, and the DOJ Criminal Division.

At Harvard, Janet is involved in the Harvard International Law Journal, Law and International Development Society, Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association. A proud first-generation Korean immigrant, Janet is passionate about international law and diplomacy, diversity and inclusion, cross-cultural exchange, and grassroots activism.
