Tara Bassi

Tara Bassi is a second year Master of Architecture Candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She currently serves as Co-Chair of Womxn in Design, a student led group at the GSD committed to advancing gender equity through public advocacy and systemic change.

Previously, she has worked at Apple, MoMA and Pratt Institute. It is important to her to promote and share ideas that are relevant and meaningful while connecting and highlighting communities that need visibility. Through her work, she is interested in empowering these diverse and relevant voices.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Art from Pratt Institute where she majored in Communications Design, focusing on film, graphic design and art direction as primary areas of study. She minored in Art History and hopes to work on projects that require design-based approaches to problem solving. Her interests also include Public Policy, Urban Planning and occasionally playing Chess.
