Said Bilani Harvard Graduate School of Education
Said Bilani is the Chief Founder of The Bilani Foundation; a private non-profit conglomerate launched to globally promote peace, reduce poverty, eliminate disease, advocate for equity in all levels of education, and expand educational opportunities for all. A Global Goodwill Ambassador: his humanitarian initiatives and advocacy span the globe, from the continental United States to the Middle East, and all corners of the world. At the heart of Said’s humanitarianism is his founding and leading of The Institute for Middle East Peace Progress.
He was also elected to the Georgetown University Student Association government, where he served as a member of the Ethics and Oversight Committee, and an executive liaison to the Committee, in his position as a ranking member of the Executive Cabinet. In addition to his on-campus leadership roles, he formerly served as a White House Intern, as a member of the inaugural White House intern class. Currently, he’s assigned to the Bureau of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, where he engages with U.S. Congressional offices in advance of hearings, drafts background material for the Secretary of State and other senior leaders before their meetings with Congress, and conducts deep dive research into pending legislation that impacts U.S. foreign policy, among other duties. Said Bilani lives in Washington D.C., is from Miami, Florida, and originally emigrated from Lebanon.
