Ulziijargal Sukhbaatar is a master’s degree candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before Harvard, she worked at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington DC, and completed her MBA. She has experience working at the Office of the Maryland Attorney General, the State of Hawaii Legislative Office, and the Dean of Students Office at Brigham Young University. As an undergraduate, she worked as a Student Executive Lead at the Honor Code Office, Political Science Teaching Assistant, and Legal Studies Tutor at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. Within three years, she completed her undergraduate degree with honors and successfully finished two internships.

In addition, she developed her leadership skills by serving as President of the Prelaw Society, Vice President of the Mongolian Association, Mediator, Service Coordinator and President of the Honors Program, and Vice President and Board Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. In addition, she was a Team Leader for a business development research project during her MBA studies. 

As a student leader, she assisted in creating and improving the institution's operations through policy implementation and development. In addition, she actively volunteered in her community. Long term, she aspires to create and enhance educational opportunities in local communities in developing countries, including her hometown in Mongolia.
