Nima Shariat Zamanpour is a fourth year Master of Architecture Candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Before coming to the GSD he triple majored in Computer Science, Economics, and Art at UC Santa Cruz. While at UCSC he interned in Transit Planning with the Santa Cruz Metro and founded a club called ArSci that hosted shows with work that operated on the intersection of Art and Science.

At the GSD Nima has been the TA for Structures and Digital Media courses and has taught a J-Term course on hyper-normalization in design. Alongside Gabe Colombo, Nima hosts a biweekly GSD radio show called (im)material. He is currently working on thesis where his research is focused on new urbanism, permaculture, simulation, and Potemkin villages. Outside of his studies in architecture Nima is interested in philosophy, geopolitics, flags, cars, calligraphy and (basic) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He speaks fluent Farsi and is actively trying not to forget the French he learned in high school.
