MJ Mehdi, Harvard Extension School

Mir Jahanzeb “M.J.” Mehdi is an ALM Master’s Degree candidate concentrating in Engineering and Data Science. While at Harvard, M.J. is on the Dean’s Academic Achievement List and is a member of the Harvard Boxing Club. Prior to Harvard, M.J. graduated with a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from City University of New York’s Baruch College and with a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary BioPhysics, with triple minors in Neuroscience, Political Science, and History from the University at Albany, where he served as the V.P. of the Society of Physics Students. He is also a member of the CFA.

His professional experience encompasses investing in public and private capital markets both on the sell-side, at J.P. Morgan Chase and on the buy-side, at a hedge fund based in New York City. In his leisure, M.J. is passionate and committed to causes related to children education, economic empowerment, and public policy, having volunteered in various capacities at numerous organizations. He is an avid sports fan and a voracious reader.
