Arya Rao, Harvard Medical School,

Arya is current candidate for the joint MD-PhD program between MIT and Harvard Medical School.  Arya is paving the way of new position in the Harvarad Graduate Council as Chair of Academic Affairs

Arya is determined to ensure that Harvard students are able to take full advantage of the academic opportunities here by working with HGC and the Harvard administration to improve academic policy.

Arya grew up in Northern Michigan and went to Columbia University for her B.A. in Biochemistry and Computer Science.

In her spare time Arya plays the saxophone. Addtionally she also spent some time in her undergrad playing water polo at Colombia University.
